Bridging the Digital and Physical
Inspired by the author’s accounts of the evolution of user experience, my photo illustration highlights the transition from tactile familiarity to minimalist abstraction, reflecting how technology once mimicked reality before embracing its own visual language. Playful yet intentional pairings of past and present interfaces invite reflection on the way digital metaphors shape our interactions with technology.
This is a showcase of the evolving iterations of the cover illustration, from early concepts to the final design. These design explorations examine the intersection of digital and physical realities, juxtaposing skeuomorphic graphical user interface elements with their real-world counterparts.
