I’ve been fortunate to work with big and small agencies alike—from DDB West with Fortune 500 brands, to in-house agencies and nonprofits promoting the uniqueness of their brands. As an Art Director, Designer and Photographer, I’ve worked on integrated advertising campaigns across emerging channels, TV, print, digital and social media for the General and Hispanic markets.

“In the early days of the pandemic, Marie emailed me and asked if there were any projects that we needed help with. I knew that she had deep experience with design, photography and website development, so I was very happy to get her email. I called her about 5 minutes after her email and said ‘YES! we need to redo our online store.’ When I told her that we were in a really difficult financial situation and needed to have a website built on an aggressive timeline she said that our timeline was a fraction of what it would normally take, but she would see what could be done. With the support of the staff and our programmer David, she somehow pulled it off, and our online business has grown exponentially since that time. It was our primary retail income source for a good stretch of 2020, and still forms an important part of our revenue stream.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that completing that site was an existential moment for TPF. We’ve had the store for long enough now that it seems normal, but the pivot to selling our full inventory, and especially plants online was really a complicated and difficult process and huge shift for TPF.
